These terms are between Base Ledger IP LLC, a Virginia company ("BaseLedger," "we," "us"), and the business that signs up ("you" or "the shop"). By signing up, you agree to them.
BaseLedger provides an AI phone assistant that answers calls for your shop. It is self-serve. We do not make sales calls.
The service does not send text messages (SMS).
Setup takes about 24 hours after you complete our onboarding web form. The form covers your business hours, service areas, standard procedures, and an emergency contact. You are responsible for keeping this information accurate.
Booking: the assistant asks callers for two preferred days plus morning or afternoon, and emails that request to you. You confirm the appointment with the caller.
New accounts get a 7-day free trial with 30 AI minutes. A card is required at signup. Your card is not charged until day 7. If you do not cancel before day 7, your card is charged for the plan you picked, and the plan renews monthly.
If you use all 30 trial minutes before day 7, calls go to your own line and we email you to start your paid plan.
About 48 hours before day 7, we email you a reminder with step-by-step cancel instructions. Cancel before day 7 if you don't want to be charged.
Stripe handles billing. Plans renew monthly on your billing date until you cancel. Overage is billed on your next monthly invoice.

Calls are recorded and transcribed, and caller details are stored. The assistant's greeting tells callers the call is recorded. You are responsible for meeting any notice or consent rules that apply to your business and callers.
Don't use the service for anything illegal, abusive, or to mislead callers.
The assistant is AI and can make mistakes, mishear callers, or miss calls. Review what it sends you. It is not an emergency service. The service is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows.
We may change these terms or prices. We will post updates here and give notice of price changes by email.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
